Cole after the six month pictures and one blow out...

I took Cole to get his pictures taken yesterday and he did really well. Thank goodness because if we put it off any longer his six month pictures were going to turn into his seven month pictures. He was all smiles during the shoot and then had a little melt down when we finished, maybe he didn't want his time in the spotlight to end? While I sat in the waiting area nursing him and waiting for Brad to get there and save me, I got a little glimpse of how different my life will (hopefully) be down the road. Another family was scheduled for the time slot right after us and I watched in amazement as the mom got both kids ready for their pictures while keeping the peace between them. They were there for her younger son's first birthday picture and she was going to try to get some good shots with them together. That sounds pretty straightforward, but trying to get a little one who just wanted to sit on mommy's lap to pose for a picture wasn't easy. Then when you put the three year old in the picture too, things got a little crazy. I can't fully imagine how much life will change when we have number two, I know it won't be easy, but I'm sure it will be the best time of our lives.

Here are some shots that I took when I got home afterward. Brad brought Cole back and discovered that he had a blow out on the way (at least that didn't happen during the pictures). I came in and found my two favorite guys both looking so cute, especially since Cole was rockin his outfit, minus the pants. I just had to capture the moment.
